Main bathroom and En-Suite

The client wanted to upgrade the main family bathroom and an en-suite. Our brief was to hide all pipework and install the suite, tiles and ancillary items that Sian had chosen. We submitted a fixed quotation for completing all of the works. We started with the main bathroom and once complete, we commenced with the en-suite refurbishment. The 3D model to the right allowed Geraint and Sian to visualise the final design, our 3D modelling process allowed them to “walk” through both rooms to understand how each part of the suite interacted.

Both bathrooms had LED lit tiled shelves and shelving units from IKEA that were also LED lit. The en-suite shelving unit was built into the wall allowing for a standard shower base whilst also hiding the existing stench pipe. Both bathrooms had new electric showers, the switching of which was done outside at low level. Geraint and Sian elected to decorate themselves.

The list of tasks is as follows:

  • Main bathroom comprising P-shaped shower bath, basin on floating vanity unit, toilet,
  • Bluetooth lit mirror, programmable electric towel rail
  • En-suite comprising, walk-in shower, floating vanity unit, toilet,
  • Bluetooth lit mirror, programmable electric towel rail
  • New electric showers, new pipework and electrical supply
  • False wall with shelf above the bath, new skirting
  • Removal of existing wall coverings, replacing plasterboard as required
  • Re-routing pipework, re-plastered all walls and ceilings.
