Bathroom Renovation

This bathroom was part of a larger renovation updating a large four storey home in Langland.

We removed the old suite and existing wall and floor coverings. The original 1970’s installer had cut away the joists to install the soil pipe giving poor support for the floor, once this was repaired we lay new flooring replacing rotten existing floorboards. The single brick wall under the window was in need of repair so we treated the brick, shuttered and filled with concrete to give the wall some stability. We prepared two lit shelves in a false wall.

Once the wall was stable we installed a new tilt & slide sash style window. We prepared the walls for tiling and plastering, and replaced the ceiling. We prepared the floor for tiling, installed the shower base, tiled the walls and tiled the floor. We installed the new suite with a floor mounted bath tap complete with shower head.
