Kitchen makeover, Velux Windows, Structural Alterations, Move doors/windows

Benchmarx Kitchen, Granite Worktop

This kitchen was part of a larger project of major structural alterations to the ground floor, creating a new kitchen diner, new cloakroom, new CH system, updating a rear courtyard, reinstating teh old servant staircase to the basement and upstairs bathrooms.

The kitchen makeover in Langland, Swansea required a new kitchen-diner space to be created by taking down two walls that had a small cloakroom between them, blocking up the existing back door and windows and removing the existing arch into the lean-to making the aperture bigger. The old leaking clay drain was replaced, a new floor laid, damp-proofed and then tiles over. Two velux windows were inserted in teh roof to bring light into the new larger space. The old floor standing boiler was removed and replaced with a new efficient gas boiler.
